It’s cool how something you were just doing for fun can become a successful business. I was talking about the Goodwood a few posts down so this is just a followup. I love behind-the-scenes footage and that chain looks sick…Need to go ahead and pre-order mine.

I don’t know if y’all noticed but I removed my last post which was a Chip-In for me to go to the World Cup in South Africa. I had a better idea which will be better for me and a bunch of people if it’s successful like I hope it will be. Y’all just stick around and when I’m finished with it and it’s ready for launch you all will be the first to know. It’s going to be a really exciting project and a tough long road but I think I’m going to be able to pull it off.

I’ve been hustling hard lately with my articles and niche blogs as usual and also I’m starting to look into Myspace and Facebook and maybe push some ads on those websites. I don’t know anything about Myspace and Facebook advertising though so I’ll be doing my research for the next couple of days.

What pointers can I give you in this post?

If you really want to make money online – have no shame and what you put in is what you’re going to get out. I spend most of my day (besides when I work out) at the PC and sometimes I see minimal results but when I see great results, they really are great. So just take your time, make your plans, have no shame, execute them accordingly, learn from your failures, and cherish your successes.

Hype. We all know what it is. When new Jordans come out – the hype that surrounds them is ridiculous – same with electronics – same with internet marketing products (from top gurus) and more. What I noticed about internet marketing products is that they tend to spike upon release – and then slowly dwindle down. Hype sells.

I made a lot of money by cashing in on the hype of the first Android powered phone – The T-Mobile G1. I wanted this phone – I knew it was hot stuff and mad people were just as interested as I was so I decided to make a site about the phone and it’s applications. A niche site. This wasn’t my first niche site – but it was my first niche site where I kind of new what I was doing.

The sites traffic grew ridiculously and probably in the first 2 days with no promotion it was getting from 7000 to 10000 hits a day. I no longer own that site and probably sold it for less than it was worth but it’s okay. But the hype surrounding that phone was incredible. I spent $7 TOTAL on the domain and made over $10000 from that site.

If you’re the first to promote a product then you should be one of the first people to cash in (if you’re techniques are successful).

How do I know when products are released?

I was wondering the same thing but this tool called the Product Calendar should be useful when it comes to IM product releases.

Final Words – Keep your eyes on the road and your ears to the streets. Hype gets you paid. If other people think it’s hot 0 and you know it’s hot – don’t hesitate. Holla at me.

Once upon a time there was this boy named Meji (me) who desperately needed ten bucks in his Paypal…He searched far and he searched wide. He asked everyone on his buddy lists…even sent a few emails just to get ten bucks into his Paypal. Needless to say…he failed miserably. But then Meji had an idea…he would send one Tweet asking for ten bucks. 

Low and behold one of Meji’s two thousand followers came through for him his name is @AndrewHansen1. What are the odds of that? I’m pretty sure he’d never been to my blog or anything but the dude lent me $10 bucks. It was really cool of him and haven’t forgot about it. I paid him back the next day when my Paypal got a refill but I’m sure you get what I’m talking about? 

Twitter is something special, I wonder how long it will last? You think it’ll fade out?

Anyways, so I decided to pay it forward. I gave a guy a stamp today in the Post Office.

I’ve been hustling hard lately trying to get that cash stacked before summer hits, you know how it is. I’ve been really hustling hard though I’ll show you somethings I’ve been looking into in the next couple of weeks. As for today, just going to put you up on the Uploading.com grind.

Uploading.com is a file hosting website which lets you upload your files for the computer and pretty much share it with the world. They have a great program that I’m getting into which is pretty much you get paid when people download files that you host.

As you can tell from the image – for every 1000 US or EU downloads you make 10 bucks. Yeah, it doesn’t sound like much but if you figure out a way to reach thousands of people for a single download…Then you’re in business.

For example, you have a blog – and everyday you update with the newest music out. You post 10 of the hottest new singles releases, and 1000 people visit your website that day and download all ten of them. It took you a few minutes to upload it and create the post..and as long as you keep it up, you’ll make money.

It’s all about reaching the masses to be successful with Uploading.com - so get to it.

I’ve told you all my plans already about writing an E-Book sometime last year. I hadn’t had the chance to settle down and begin writing it until recently. Since it’s my first E-Book I decided not to make too long. I’m looking to write something short, informative, and useful for people who are trying to make a couple extra hundred bucks a month using Google’s Adsense.

So I decided I’m going to go by  My New Years Resolution: The 7-Day Plan. Tell me you’ve tried it before? So far I’m on Day 2 of my 7 days and I’ve written two chapters. The book is coming along well and should be finished within 2-3 weeks. The point is to finish the rough draft within 7 days.

I’m excited about the launch and even if things don’t work out. It’s all about putting yourself out there and giving yourself opportunities. At least I can give it away for free to people as a reference guide to making a couple dollars on the side. Good thing I’m not printing it out because I don’t want it to be used as a substitute for toilet paper

I was reading The University Kids post on how 20% of your time yields 80% of your results. If you think I’m taking more than an hour and a half on a chapter, you’re mistaken. I have a list of goals to complete everyday in order to become a success on the internet and with this blog. I’ll list them out in the future.

7 Days – 7 chapters is the goal. Have you tried the 7 day plan yet?

I was over on one of the Blogs I frequent, chrisbrogan.com, and he recently upped a post named “The Importance of Play and Work.” It was quite a passionate video where he explained how play and work go hand-in-hand and how some of the most successful companies, for example Google, have had great success by using such a technique.

I work hard. That’s pretty much what I do, work hard. But I definitely find time to play. Don’t let your life get bogged down by work so much that you’re not even enjoying the money. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your life, and if work is getting way too stressful, take a break.

What people don’t realize is when you’re working at home/hustling online, it’s not easy. It’s not a kickback and relax job in any sense, shape, or fashion. You spend hours everyday on the PC reading, learning, doing, and by the time you know it, the day has passed you by.

So to everyone on their hustle – whether at home or at the workplace – remember to take some time out for yourself. You’ll find that it’s so much more refreshing and your productivity level will skyrocket.
