My friend did the modeling and I was the Jean-Pierre the photographer. He’s quite photogenic it seems. He took a few of me, one of them is that picture up top in the banner. Anyways..ever since he left it’s it was quite depressing since I couldn’t capture anything except through my phone, and for awhile my phone didn’t even have a camera. I’ll be getting a camera of my own soon and practicing with it a lot! Should be fun and add a little more eye candy (hopefully) to this blog. Here’s a few snaps I took that day…

I had an iPhone for quite a while. Nice phone seriously, it’s made me a couple G’s since it’s original release so I’ll always have love for it. After all, it did put some extra dough in between my pockets. It also drove me into the line of Apple products so far that I ended up dropping a 2k on a decked out MacBook Pro last year, which is probably my best purchase to date. But besides that, I kind of got tired of it. Sounds crazy, but I did.

Your boy got caught up in that Blackberry hype and ended up purchasing a Bold 9700 which is my best purchase of 2010 to date. The interface isn’t probably as user friendly as the iPhone meaning not any fool can pick it up and use it. To me, the phone just exudes class, if that’s possible. It’s sleek, stylish, dark, and bold, which makes it just seem masculine. It’s more than pleasing to the eye.

As for usability, the phone is amazing. The apps in the iPhone are definitely more aesthetic, cheaper, and there are simply more of them. But to me as a casual user who’s not (pointless) app crazy, email, Twitter, Facebook, GPS, and instant messaging applications are all I need. And the ones available are great (Facebook could use improvement most definitely though). I gotta give credit to a quality product. It’s not all glitz and glam but it’s actually a very very effective communications device with a respectable battery life. You can stay connected with people from all over the world…if that’s your type thing that is.

Be Bold.

I’m thinking about getting back on the internet and street hustle and start hustlin up them pounds cause my dollars are fading out quickly. Been shoppin’ like I’m Paris Hilton or something. My boy Booker over at TGT Money is setting a great example for me on getting back into the game.

Takes so much time and effort though…I don’t know if I got time like I had before but only time will tell. I’m in a new place, surrounded by new things and new people which can lead to new hustles and new money. I just gotta keep my ear to the streets….

Once you’ve gotten all the files and made separate folders for each scenario. Get on Craigslist in your city and in the electronics section put up an advertisement not identical but similar to this one –  http://houston.craigslist.org/ele/1247601303.html – if you want get more creative.

Once you’ve done all of that sit back and let the calls and texts roll in. Treat people professionally! You need WiFi if they don’t have AT&T and most people feel more comfortable dealing in a public place. There’s money to be made. Get it.

Hype. We all know what it is. When new Jordans come out – the hype that surrounds them is ridiculous – same with electronics – same with internet marketing products (from top gurus) and more. What I noticed about internet marketing products is that they tend to spike upon release – and then slowly dwindle down. Hype sells.

I made a lot of money by cashing in on the hype of the first Android powered phone – The T-Mobile G1. I wanted this phone – I knew it was hot stuff and mad people were just as interested as I was so I decided to make a site about the phone and it’s applications. A niche site. This wasn’t my first niche site – but it was my first niche site where I kind of new what I was doing.

The sites traffic grew ridiculously and probably in the first 2 days with no promotion it was getting from 7000 to 10000 hits a day. I no longer own that site and probably sold it for less than it was worth but it’s okay. But the hype surrounding that phone was incredible. I spent $7 TOTAL on the domain and made over $10000 from that site.

I was wondering the same thing but this tool called the Product Calendar should be useful when it comes to IM product releases.

Remember a few months ago when I made those posts talking about how my computers were messed up? Now I don’t have to worry about that anymore because I got a new computer and I’m completely in love with it.

I made the video above in a few seconds…recorded it with my iPhone and uploaded it to the MacBook and did a few things. It was so easy. I have to admit the functionality and all that stuff of Macintosh is just genius. I am now a believer.

It set me back 2k but I’ve been on the hustle hardcore so I’ll be alright haha. I’ll keep y’all updated I might start vlogging a little on this blog too so stay posted..leave comments…show love and what not!

So many times I get caught up in conversation with people on the streets,  random people, friends, barbers and just people in general who I think I can market myself to and possibly make a few sales and get some money of them. I’m doing some extreme fundraising because I’ll be leaving the country later on this year and I need as much cash flow as possible. (That’s why I put FOREX into overdrive and caught a serious case of whiplash.)

There really is no easier way of exchanging contact info than a business card though. Make sure you include all the vital information you know – Name, Phone Number, Email Address - and nowadays you even see Myspaces, Twitter Addresses, and peoples Facebook pages on their business cards. I know this guy who designs some really nice business cards and once I have everything in place I’ll definitely be using him. I like to do things in style you know. I’ll do a feature on him and his work in a few weeks.

I’m about my online and my offline hustles. You gotta do what it takes to make that money. In one of my other posts I mentioned how people don’t know the value of their own goods – and some people don’t know or are just too lazy to do some basic tech stuff to their iPhones. Well this is where Craigslist and getting on your local hustle comes in.

I recently got an iPhone 3G 16GB off of Craigslist for $375 . Do you know how much they’re going for on eBay? Around $500 to $600 if you jailbreak and unlock it. Thats anywhere from $100 to $200 profit. If you haven’t figured out what I’m getting at already then I don’t know what to tell you. There are many people who don’t know or just want to get rid of their stuff quickly. I know the general concern is - what if somethings wrong with it?

This is just where you have to be smart when you buy. Ask questions (is it still under warranty? How old is it?) – don’t get too excited when you see an unbelieveably low price – and don’t get jumped or jacked either. Heard about the Craigslist killer in Boston yet?

All you need is a little start up capital to buy them, the software to jailbreakand unlock  it, and then the ingenuity to sell them and you’re on your way.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Go to Craigslist.com and choose your City and State.
2. Use the search bar on the left and type in: iPhone
3. Look for steals/deals and give them a call.
4. Meet them up – inspect – and make your decision.

I’m not going to tell you how to jailbreak it here but Google will definitely hook you up with that knowledge or you can always send me an email.

The other hustle I was thinkin’ about getting on is the iPhone unlocking service. It’s really easy once you get the hang of it.

Make sure you know the difference between a 3G and a 2G an 8GB and a 16GB. Do all your research before you spend a dollar so you don’t waste any money.

Why am I so late? Because I had a G1 and wasn’t interested in iPhones at all. I have to admit though – I’m falling in love with them.

*Update – 3GS are also out now too. This hustle is still strong and with the new iPhones coming out this summer it will only pick up.
