My SpamBox Lost Me Money!!
Posted on 14. Apr, 2009 by Meji.

I have a couple of businesses I run on the side. If you don’t know them already, one of them is for Niche Blog Building and the other is an Article Writing business. Today I’m going to tell you how I managed to lose a potential $1000 by being ignorant.
I have around 7 Gmail accounts and that doesn’t include my server side accounts which forward to my Gmail accounts which sometime forward to another. It’s an intricate network of Gmails and emails pretty much. I also have contact forms on most of my sites which go to the server side email and then forward to my Gmail accounts.
One day I decided to look into my spam box in a few of my emails and I saw at least 5 missed emails from clients asking for blogs an articles. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I wanted to cry because missed money hurts. I mean…that’s like lunch - for a week or 2. Who knows, it could’ve been repeat business? I thought I had everything under control because all my email that goes to my inbox goes to my cell phone, but my SPAM DOESN’T!
It also has to do with the Contact Form Plugin I was using cforms II. Spammers use your contact form to send you spam! So if you use a contact form make sure you have a captcha or verification question.
What Did I Learn?
- Check Your Spam Mail Regularly.
- If you use any contact form make sure you have a captcha or verification form.
- If you use cforms just add a new field and choose Visitor Verification (Q & A).
- Minimize your business E-Mail addresses.

March Madness AKA March Earnings Report
Posted on 03. Apr, 2009 by Meji.
As you can tell March was a great month with Adsense so I’m slowly getting back in the swing of things. And surprisingly I made a couple dollars from this blog last month selling adspace which was pretty effing cool. It was a good month overall I had some let downs but they were away from the computer but everything I touched online seemed to have turned to gold. It’s quite possibly my best month online yet.
Remember the post I did about Infolinks.com a few weeks ago - well here are the final results for that -

And then here’s a screen shot of how my Niche Blog Building and Article Writing Service went last month - nothing special I guess. If you need a nice blog or some great articles written - you know who to see

Hustlers Of The Week: Week 2
Posted on 28. Feb, 2009 by Meji.
This Saturday we don’t have one or two Hustlers Of The Week - we have 5. I’ve been surfing and scampering all over the blogosphere and these guys are pumping out some quality knowledge. Yes - they are all in the make money online niche, but what’s wrong with making money online? We all have to eat somehow, right?
We’re going to start off with IronBlogger - Quality content, no filler. Learn everything you read on this guys site. Also check out his list of 100 Bloggers to watch - you’ll find some goodies there.
Stand Out Blogger - The name says it all. This Blogger stands out from the rest. I just caught onto his blog a little bit before the New Year and it’s a hit I also have a thing for his Shirt designs (still haven’t told me when they go up for sale!?!?)
TGTMoney - He talks more than about
making money but also about the use of social media. It’s always a great read and his recommendations have yet to disappoint. Check him out for sure.
InfectedByBugs - He keeps it real. Doesn’t lie and tell you what you want to hear but actually provides useful content which a lot of people struggle to do in this niche nowadays.
IMwithJoe - Love his blog, always entertaining yet informative. If you can do both of those at the same time then you will definitely get a lot of readers. Most of his posts are videos and I don’t know why but I laugh all the way through them. Good stuff.
Make sure you check these guys out - I don’t recommend garbage, well at least not on a regular basis.

Hustle Chronicles - Choosing Your Niche
Posted on 19. Feb, 2009 by Meji.

Now that I’m injured and taking a break from the field. I’m sitting at home more and more everyday and learning so much through the people I encounter online. I love Adsense - I’m writing an E-Book on “How To Get Paid Using Adsense” (look out for it) - Adsense is my favorite source of income and at times, surprisingly, it’s my only source of income. But as the title says, the Adsense hustle is not for everyone.
The thing about the Adsense hustle is that in most cases unless you have an extremely high traffic site - you won’t make too much. Another thing that determines how much you make are the ads that show up on your website - is your website/blog in a high paying niche. That is definitely something that you should look into before you create your site, especially if you’re looking to make money off of it.
Other niches such as the weight loss and skin care niches, people say that affiliate products are better to advertise with those. Those are said to be the “desperate buyers” markets. I’m so fat - I’ll buy any product just to see if it works! (their mentality supposedly). I don’t know if that’s completely true. And to me anyways, most desperate markets are saturated.
When I choose a Niche - I like to think outside the box. People say write about what interests you, of course that’s a plus, but what if you’re interested in mongolian cow manure- see how far that’s going to get you. Anyways, you don’t want to be too far outside of the box, but you want to be borderline, something that a lot of people are interested in OR something that a lot of people WILL be interested in. Something that you could possibly top the search engines on. Think AHEAD of the game.
You’d be surprised one blog topping the search engines for a keyword can get you more money than 10 blogs on the second page.
