I drew inspiration from this post from my good buddy @Booker who runs TGTMoney.com. Since I’ve finished my E-Book I’ve been kind of idle lately. So I decided I’d better put some plans down now for April before I spend this whole month doing a bunch of nothing. These are the times when I wish I was enrolled in classes or something.

So what do I have planned for this April?  Read on…

April In A Nutshell (My Plans/Goals.)

Launch My E-Book - It took me awhile to write but it’s soon going to be launch time. I’ve planned out how I am going to launch it so we will see how that goes. I’m trying to get rid of 100 copies minimum before I quit selling it. Be on the lookout - I’ll be posting it up here in only a few days!

Make $500 On FOREX - I’ll be doing a post on this soon actually. You know I’m always delving into anything and everything I can find that makes a buck. Some work - some don’t. But I have a good feeling about this and when the money starts flowing. I’ll update with the knowledge.

Continue Writing This Blog - Although readers and traffic has taken a miniature dip. I vowed to myself that I would not give up on this blog. It’s going to follow me as I travel the 4 corners of the earth. It will die - when I die.

Throw A Contest - I’ve always wanted to have a contest and with the release of the E-Book and what not a contest definitely should fit in sometime this month. I got 4 things that I possibly want to give away. My 2G iPod Shuffle, a wireless keyboard/mouse set,  a Microsoft Lifechat 3000 wireless headset, and a copy of my eBook. I just don’t know if it’s a good idea yet. Would y’all be interested in that?

The incremental 7 days plans are smaller puzzle pieces to the bigger picture. So here are some personal goals and goals for this blog that I’m trying to accomplish within the next 2 months

  • Make a PDL Team for the Summer ‘09 Season

How Fast I Move

I’ve told you all my plans already about writing an E-Book sometime last year. I hadn’t had the chance to settle down and begin writing it until recently. Since it’s my first E-Book I decided not to make too long. I’m looking to write something short, informative, and useful for people who are trying to make a couple extra hundred bucks a month using Google’s Adsense.

So I decided I’m going to go by  My New Years Resolution: The 7-Day Plan. Tell me you’ve tried it before? So far I’m on Day 2 of my 7 days and I’ve written two chapters. The book is coming along well and should be finished within 2-3 weeks. The point is to finish the rough draft within 7 days.

I’m excited about the launch and even if things don’t work out. It’s all about putting yourself out there and giving yourself opportunities. At least I can give it away for free to people as a reference guide to making a couple dollars on the side. Good thing I’m not printing it out because I don’t want it to be used as a substitute for toilet paper :P

I was reading The University Kids post on how 20% of your time yields 80% of your results. If you think I’m taking more than an hour and a half on a chapter, you’re mistaken. I have a list of goals to complete everyday in order to become a success on the internet and with this blog. I’ll list them out in the future.

7 Days - 7 chapters is the goal. Have you tried the 7 day plan yet?

You’d be surprised what YOU can do in just 7 days.

My New Years Resolution: The 7-Day Plan

7days My New Years Resolution: The 7 Day PlanA lot of people make New Years Resolutions. And then they don’t stick to them. I’m one of those people, so earlier this year I devised a plan on how I’m going to be able to stick to my goals. I call this wonderful plan the 7-Day Plan.

A lot us MMO (Make Money Online) people like to set goals, deadlines, and what not. Some people set realistic goals (which I believe fully in) and some people set ridiculous goals (ridiculous). I believe in setting realistic incremental goals.

You crawl before you walk - You stretch before you run.

This is how the 7-Day Plan works -

  1. You go to Walgreens, get a notebook (I like the small 5-Star Ones). If you’re a PC person, open up a word document.
  2. Title the document or notebook paper for example - Dec 7th-Dec 14th
  3. Write down all your goals that you believe you can accomplish within those 7 Days
  4. Every morning look at the goals, choose one, and get it done.
  5. Every night look at your goal list, and cross out the ones you completed.
  6. Try and finish all your goals that you set in 7 days, then turn the page.
  7. Repeat from step #2.

The 7-Day Plan isn’t only effective in Internet Marketing/Make Money Online, but effective in all walks of life. Take your wife out to dinner, plan it, complete it! Take out the trash, plan it, complete it. Whatever it is, write it down, and get it done. And I’ll tell you what, you’d be surprised how much you can do in only 7 Days.
