That song puts me in the get money mood. I haven’t posted about cake in a minute cause a mans been busy, ya dig? I rarely even post about making money online because I stick to the same tactics most of the time. One of my friends introduced me to this tool about a week ago, and I haven’t stopped messing with it for the past week. My blog has suffered, I’ve been tweeting less (except during football matches), and I’ve been a little anti-social as well. But it’s all been worthwhile and should pay off sooner or later in more ways than one.

Initially, when you open up WebDom you might feel a little overwhelmed. But after you’ve watched a few of the intro videos and hung out in the chat you’ll find yourself moving along smoothly in no time. You can use WebDom to help you build your online presence by promoting yourself on plenty of social media sites (the program comes with plenty of free plugins which saves you time). The thing about WebDom is it’s not site specific, you can create a plugin for any site and WebDom will do what you tell it to do ranging from adding friends, to sending private messages, and anything in between.

I got lucky, a few days after I joined up version 2.5 and the auto-scripting feature came out (you do the actions, WebDom writes the script so it can run automatically next time around). Which made the whole process of telling WebDom what to do 10x easier. You just set it, and forget it.

The support is second to none and I’m not just saying that. How often do you get to talk to the creator of a program on a daily basis? Now it’s not just about promoting yourself or your business, there are plenty of ways to make money directly and indirectly using WebDom, I’ve already started and it’s going well. Imagine. Anyways, 10 years ago there was no Myspace, no Facebook, no Youtube. There was pretty much nothing of lasting significance on the internet. Those people had dreams, ideas, and balls to implement them. I see the internet as a 2nd world where you can connect with others, find an abundance of information, etc etc.. It’s also a place where people conduct their businesses and make millions daily. Everyday a new star is born. The great thing about the internet though is it’s relatively young, less than 20 years old. When it comes to mainstream use I’d say it’s barely 10 years old. Which means that it still has hundreds of years to evolve and you and I are lucky enough to catch it so early in its history. Youtube recently only turned 5 years old. Word? What the hell were we doing for videos before then? Yahoo or Real Player? No thanks.

So what I’m saying with this post is that, contrary to popular belief. everything HASN’T been done. If you have an idea and it sounds farfetched, don’t be afraid to follow it because the potential rewards almost always outweigh the risk. Who knew social networking would blow up to be what it is today with all these powerhouses involved. Who knows how long they’ll last until the next thing comes along? Just some food for thought is what this post is. I’m going to be working on developing a few ideas in the future…how about you?

I’ve been counting down these days for quite awhile now but it’s finally come. At 2 pm CST today I’m going to be on my way out of this country! I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing and it hasn’t struck me really yet so I don’t know how I’m going to take it. What I do know is that I’m a man with a plan and when I land it’s all business I think. But yeah I made another video of my escapade to Houston last week that’s why I was ghost from the blog.. Check the video out.

The Day Has Come For Me To Leave

I’ve been spending the past two weeks hustling everything I can find in my house. From wireless keyboards and mouses that I had sitting around since Club Live nukin’ days to old monitors. Just trying to make ends meet before I head off to London. That virtual real estate game is no joke though. My article writing site and blog building sites have been pretty stagnant along with the site I made for the Palm Pre in one day on a whim…

Each of these sites had their heyday (besides Palm-Pre which was created on June 1st) and then I got lazy or got caught up doing other things and let the sites die out. Since I decided I was going to do a mass liquidation of everything because I want to go to London with a few stacks in my pocket I decided to see what I could get for them. For internet marketers – warriorforum.com is an absolute goldmine for selling your unwanted creations. After banking off specials and getting screwed by Clickbank (hopefully they’ll pay me my 367 bucks they owe me) I decided it was time Adsense Pirate and I parted ways. I also called the end of the line for the Palm site, article site, and blog building business.

The sales totaled to about $1000 extra cash in my pocket (still selling the article site) so I felt pretty damn good because..I’ve made a pretty penny from each of those sites…and then to get rid of them for a solid amount in such a short time was solid. Yeah it’s good in the short run as the conversion will slice that cash to 600 pounds but hey – it’s better than nothing.

Anyways…check out warriorforum – good knowledge there and great people to network with…They also have money they’re willing to spend.

I’ve been working hard on getting all my sites up to date and what not and this is one of the many that needed a little revamping. It’s a site where I offer my services and what not so I thought I would share it with all of my people who visit this blog so they can see what my online hustle consists of. I actually do all the work by myself and don’t outsource anything. So people feel pretty comfortable when working with me.

The site is WebSketchz.com - offering a bunch of  basic web services. I changed it up, added some services and removed some others. It’s mostly a hub for two of my main sites but also offers some services on its own. I’m going to do a relaunch on some forums and hopefully get a little business generated from it but we’ll see how it goes. I also plan on getting some really nice business cards made for this site – so when I move around I can always drop a card off and feel cool. That won’t be for awhile though because I’m on a tight budget – I’m trying to save up $5000 before I take the trip.

So many times I get caught up in conversation with people on the streets,  random people, friends, barbers and just people in general who I think I can market myself to and possibly make a few sales and get some money of them. I’m doing some extreme fundraising because I’ll be leaving the country later on this year and I need as much cash flow as possible. (That’s why I put FOREX into overdrive and caught a serious case of whiplash.)

There really is no easier way of exchanging contact info than a business card though. Make sure you include all the vital information you know – Name, Phone Number, Email Address - and nowadays you even see Myspaces, Twitter Addresses, and peoples Facebook pages on their business cards. I know this guy who designs some really nice business cards and once I have everything in place I’ll definitely be using him. I like to do things in style you know. I’ll do a feature on him and his work in a few weeks.

I’ve been hustling hard lately trying to get that cash stacked before summer hits, you know how it is. I’ve been really hustling hard though I’ll show you somethings I’ve been looking into in the next couple of weeks. As for today, just going to put you up on the Uploading.com grind.

Uploading.com is a file hosting website which lets you upload your files for the computer and pretty much share it with the world. They have a great program that I’m getting into which is pretty much you get paid when people download files that you host.

As you can tell from the image – for every 1000 US or EU downloads you make 10 bucks. Yeah, it doesn’t sound like much but if you figure out a way to reach thousands of people for a single download…Then you’re in business.

For example, you have a blog – and everyday you update with the newest music out. You post 10 of the hottest new singles releases, and 1000 people visit your website that day and download all ten of them. As we all know social networking is taking or has taken over the internet recently. I’m sure you’ve all heard enough of Twitter, Facebook, Myspace since everybody is using them from the President of the United States to  the average cubicle worker. For the people who spend their time trying to make money online  I think you should ask yourself whether Twitter and other social sites are actually helping your business, or are you just wasting time?

Are you social networking, or social notworking?

According to this TechCrunch post their increase of traffic from Twitter was less valuable than the traffic that they hard earned from Twitter before they were featured on the front page.  Another thing I’d like to mention that if you’re one of those people like myself who use Adsense, traffic from Twitter is not one of the best things for you.

If you’re hoping to use Twitter to drive more traffic to your sites and make bookoo dollars it’s not as easy as it seems. It actually takes time to build relationships with these people unless you already have a good reputation through an outstanding website or a blog. Besides, a good question to ask yourself is - “Is the traffic I get from Twitter worth the time I spend on it?”

Twitter haven’t even found out a way to monetize themselves besides donations (in which they received $20 million).

So are people who are using Twitter to fuel their businesses wasting their time? Could we be spending our time finding more valuable sources of traffic? Are we just social notworking?

Are You Social Networking Or Social Notworking?

There are quite a few ways to monetize your sites nowadays. Adsense and Yahoo Publishers network to name two of the main ad networks out there. Today, I’m going to be comparing two In-Text/Contextual Advertising programs: Infolinks and Kontera.

They are both comapnies which give you the power to advrtise through the text on your website. A code that you insert at the bottom of your site will pretty much crawl your site looking for keywords. Once it finds those keywords it will turn them into a link that when hovered over will produce a small popup. You make money when either that link is clicked or the advertisement is clicked.

I ran Kontera for awhile and realized that I was making pittances. I didn’t know whether or not it was worth it to run ths ads bcause after all – I am somewhat tricking my readers into clicking these links that are actually ads. But I’m all about my paper on the site I ran it on so it didn’t matter. Here are the earnings I made with Kontera over February.

As you can see, it was a little less than satisfying. I won’t reveal the number of clicks, but they were respectable and I still wasn’t earning at least a dollar a day. That’s unacceptable.

So I was on somones site, unfortunately I forgot who it was, and I hovered over one of their links and got a tiny popup from a diffrent In-Text Advertiser: Infolinks. In my search to find somone who pays more I decided to check it out.

I recently joined Infolinks and easily integrated it into my website by pasting a simple code. Support on the site is top notch I sent them a message asking a question and got a response very quickly.

I signed up and got approved within a day, and removed Kontera from the site with a swiftness. They also allow you to change the color of your Content Link like Kontera but they also let you choose whether it should be underlined once or twice. This can make the difference and I think having only one underline adds to clickablity.

Infolinks was a hit from the first day. I’ve been running it on the exact same site and I’ve made twice as much as I made on Kontera all February in 10 days. Not only that, but I’ve made half as much as I’ve made using Kontera for the last 5 months, in just over a week. Here is a screenshot from my Infolinks account:

As you can tell, if you’re trying to make money with In-Text advertising you’re better off with Infolinks. I feel Kontera has been holding out and ripping me off for the most part and that’s just being honest. I also feel that their users are starting to see that there is better money elsewhere.

I’m glad I made the switch to Infolinks. Kontera just wasn’t working.  They were paying me over 50% less than what Infolinks offers .

If you are currently with Kontera – they are holding out on you. I’ve come to a conclusion that Kontera makes you pennies – Infolinks makes you dollars. It’s a no brainer.
