Expression Engine is hot. It’s hot because it’s different. It’s a Wordpress alternative. Do I like it more than Wordpress? Couldn’t tell ya because I’ve never used it.

If you check out their showcase gallery you’ll notice some real beautiful blogs have been made using their platform. I’m a Wordpress head…I use it for everything but I always love checking out alternatives just to see what the competition is offering. 

I read a post somewhere how Expression Engine is easier to work with than Wordpress when you get all into the code and what not but I’m far from a professional on that topic so I think I’ll pass on talking about that. 

Expression Engine is packed with great features and has an affiliate program for those trying to advertise something new and different. I haven’t signed up for that yet. Similar to another Wordpress alternative, SquareSpace, Expression Engine is not completely free.

They do have a free module but it seems to have a lot less than their other mudles which you can check out on their Pricing Page. I think the mere fact that Wordpress is what puts them ahead of the competition. I would never leave Wordpress and I know many other bloggers that ar with me on that.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a paid review…So EE people pay me whenever you get the chance.
