Money May

01/06/10

May was a crazy month of ups and downs. On the first Monday of May, I went up for a header and came down with a bruised kidney. Some gargantuan defender shoved his elbow into my side. I went home and pissed blood, then had to go to the hospital. I’m alright though. Since I wasn’t fit to play much anymore and I had a trip planned for June, I had no choice but to do what I enjoy, hustling.

My boy Bryan put me on some new tactics on how to make money online. The man is a genius, his blog will be coming shortly and trust it’s going to be featured here because his hustle honestly puts mine to shame. Keep your eyes open as I’ll post it here when my man starts up. Anyways, May started off strong and finished with a whimper. At the beginning of May I was pushing big numbers, with high conversion rates, but towards the end things slowed down. Either way I was able to push over $5k worth of traffic using just one affiliate network – Tatto Media. I’m not going to paste screenshots this time because I’ve found people using my other screenshots and can’t be bothered to start watermarking.

Besides that I’ve also began using PPC marketing and plan on getting into Facebook Ads. I know I’m late as hell but I was chilling on that Adsense grind for awhile so wasn’t in a rush to make that new money. You can say I earned some extra spending money for Spain this month in the real of $ this month, so I’m a happy camper until I get back. When I get back though it’s back on the grind because I’m trying to make $100k in a year online and I have a very long way to go. Remember, $100k is only $277 a day. And online, if you’re in the right place you can make it in a matter of minutes.

If you’re looking for some advice on where to get started contact me at meji@o2email.co.uk – I’m going to be gone for most of June but trust – I’ll send you in the right direction (I won’t give you a blueprint and a how to) to get you started and I’ll do it for free, you could say I’m paying it forward. What I won’t do is hold your hand and be your daddy, you have to be willing to go and learn some on your own. It’s all about the work you’re ready to do. If you aren’t ready or can’t dedicate time to something, don’t even bother starting. One love.

No pics this post unfortunately.

Football Nomad – A World Cup Journey

27/05/10

6 1024x682 Football Nomad A World Cup Journey

If you don’t know by now, I love football. I live and breathe it. It’s just about everything to me. I’m not the only one who feels this way, there are millions upon millions of people scatter around the globe that share this same feeling. If only I could show you..Wait, there’s someone who can. Actually there are 2 of them and this is their story.

With the World Cup on our heels two brothers, Andrew and Patrick Weber, are planning to set off on a trip that will take them through six of the most football crazy nations on earth. Their journey will take them through Spain, Italy, England, Germany, Holland, France, and to live games in South Africa. The duo are creating an independent web-documentary combining film and social media to share the colour and excitement of the 2010 World Cup titled Football Nomad which is launching on June 4th.

They’ll be armed with a laptop, handycam, and new friends spotted across Europe who are eager to help them on their journey.

A few words from Andrew himself:

“We believe the most captivating thing about the World Cup is the bubbling mix of cultures on display. We want to capture footage of the bars and pubs on days when the national teams of the countries we are in are playing; to get interviews with locals about what the passion of the World Cup means to them and their country and to share the vibe in and around the stadiums in South Africa where the tournament is being held.”

This is going to be an exciting documentary capturing the passion of the World Cup from real people who bleed their countries colors. From the narrow streets of Italy, to the roaring pubs of England, to the packed stadiums in South Africa, the Weber brothers will travel. Will you following them along their epic journey?

Hopefully I can link up with them and make a cameo on their documentary. Look out for the good-looking guy.
