I Got My Head Down Working Hard

I don’t know if y’all noticed but I removed my last post which was a Chip-In for me to go to the World Cup in South Africa. I had a better idea which will be better for me and a bunch of people if it’s successful like I hope it will be. Y’all just stick around and when I’m finished with it and it’s ready for launch you all will be the first to know. It’s going to be a really exciting project and a tough long road but I think I’m going to be able to pull it off.

I’ve been hustling hard lately with my articles and niche blogs as usual and also I’m starting to look into Myspace and Facebook and maybe push some ads on those websites. I don’t know anything about Myspace and Facebook advertising though so I’ll be doing my research for the next couple of days.

What pointers can I give you in this post?

If you really want to make money online - have no shame and what you put in is what you’re going to get out. I spend most of my day (besides when I work out) at the PC and sometimes I see minimal results but when I see great results, they really are great. So just take your time, make your plans, have no shame, execute them accordingly, learn from your failures, and cherish your successes.

Holla at me! :)

Organic Traffic is Orgasmic Traffic

I haven’t announced the winner to my competition yet but I will. I’ve been a little out of commission lately but I’m back. Today I’m going to be talking a little bit about organic traffic and how much I love it. But first let me talk about..

Social Traffic:

Social traffic is traffic obtained through means of…being social. Think social networking sites like Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, Digg, and more. Some sites are well suited for social traffic while others aren’t. I’m not a fan for actively pursuing social traffic because most of the time you work hard for menial results. Not all of the time, but a lot of the time.

I’d also like to mention that some sites are better suited for social traffic whilst others are not.

What is Organic Traffic?

Organic traffic is a bloggers best friend. In fact - it’s any webmasters best friend. Organic traffic is pretty much traffic that comes from an unpaid listing (search engines or directories). Most of the time we’re talking about search engine traffic though. Organic traffic is free promotion…free traffic which if used correctly can lead to free money.

Why?

If you’re not taking advantage of organic traffic by now then your website is missing out on a lot of traffic - which could also mean you’re missing out on a lot of money. As I said in my ebook Adsense Pirate organic traffic was bringing in around 95% of traffic to one of my main Adsense money makers. I had not promoted the site for one day. So the next question is…

How?

The best way to get organic traffic is through SEO. Search engine optimization. Those are three very important words for any blogger who wants to go far. SEO isn’t as hard as some people make it out to be. It’s a lot easier to start a blog using good SEO practice than it is to convert a blog. Things such as title tags, keywords, and what not you need to pay a lot of attention to. I’m going to do a post on SEO in the future. If you rank high in Google for the keywords your site is based on - and they aren’t crappy keywords of course - then you’ll see some traffic coming your way.

Anyways - I haven’t updated in a while so I thought I would throw this post in just to get your mind wondering. I was looking for World Cup tickets today..meh no good teams left…I’ll wait till the next phase of ticket sales. Anyways - stick around. Stay thirsty - peace.

Why Hype Is Your Best Friend?

hype 300x195 Why Hype Is Your Best Friend?

Hype. We all know what it is. When new Jordans come out - the hype that surrounds them is ridiculous - same with electronics - same with internet marketing products (from top gurus) and more. What I noticed about internet marketing products is that they tend to spike upon release - and then slowly dwindle down. Hype sells.

I made a lot of money by cashing in on the hype of the first Android powered phone - The T-Mobile G1. I wanted this phone - I knew it was hot stuff and mad people were just as interested as I was so I decided to make a site about the phone and it’s applications. A niche site. This wasn’t my first niche site - but it was my first niche site where I kind of new what I was doing.

The sites traffic grew ridiculously and probably in the first 2 days with no promotion it was getting from 7000 to 10000 hits a day. I no longer own that site and probably sold it for less than it was worth but it’s okay. But the hype surrounding that phone was incredible. I spent $7 TOTAL on the domain and made over $10000 from that site.

Cash in on the hype.

From RLShaw.com - Interesting information and something I’m definitely going to be looking into. I want to begin cashing in on the hype that surrounds new internet marketing products. If you’re the first to promote a product then you should be one of the first people to cash in (if you’re techniques are successful).

How do I know when products are released?

I was wondering the same thing but this tool called the Product Calendar should be useful when it comes to IM product releases.

Final Words - Keep your eyes on the road and your ears to the streets. Hype gets you paid. If other people think it’s hot 0 and you know it’s hot - don’t hesitate. Holla at me.

Here’s a short crap vid of me in Houston - Lol.

Stick To What You Know

 Stick To What You Know
The title of this post is pretty self explanatory. I’m saying this because I know what I’m good at and I know what I suck at. What am I good at? Making niche blogs that actually make money. What do I suck at? I don’t know if I suck but I remember taking a $750 loss on FOREX. That junk still hurts for real y’all that’s 750 Double Cheeseburgers or Hot n Spicys.

Anyways - I challenged myself to create a blog in one day a few days ago. Did it in about 8 hours from bottom to top. SEO to content to images - EVERYTHING. It got indexed pretty quickly and today - it actually has more hits than this blog has gotten this week combined. I guess I was just in time. So now my main goal is to climb higher and higher in Google because believe it or not - with all those hits that website is on the second page of Google! That’s driving me nuts and it’s because I was so late to join the race.

The cool thing though is it’s already pulling in a little Adsense revenue. Since I’m on my major money grind I need to continue raising as much money as possible before October. I’m going to give myself a quota to reach and find multiple hustles (that are worth my time) and I’m going to put anyone who reads this blog on. So be sure to subscribe and don’t forget about the contest..Read the last post
