Late is better than never. I hadn’t heard of GoodWood before until recently and I’ve never been the type to rock a chain of any sort, just wasn’t my style. But today I think I’m going to have to go back on that statement. I’m not type who jumps on and off bandwagons with a swiftness, but I’m not that one guy who is too cool to appreciate quality. To me, this is quality. Not just this chain but everything that they’re doing. From what I’ve seen that Black Jesus piece is sellin’ like hotcakes.
Although I’ve never been to Africa, I identify with it in so many different ways like family, food, culture, and life in general which makes this piece even more desirable for me. Probably gonna have to pick one of these up.
Here’s a little writeup off the GoodWood site:
The GoodWood NYC X Chace Infinite – Africa is a symbol that promotes both the remembrance of the place that gave birth to mankind, and a reminder that so many people in that country are still suffering. Influenced by the African medallions that were popular in the mid 80’s- early 90’s, the The GoodWood NYC X Chace Infinite – Africa recaptures a time when people were discovering knowledge, and opening their minds. Wake Up!
