I randomly took this picture the other day when filming something by a brick wall. I really liked it. Made me happy. So happy I changed my Twitter background to it. This is awesome – steal this picture and show your friends or something.

Bricks are cool as long as they aren’t flying – that’s when they become dangerous. Dope.

First time working with Snatchy and it was definitely jokes so there will probably be more collaborations with us in the future. I’m working on a lot of stuff right now so there will definitely be plenty to talk about on this blog so make sure you stay locked in!

I don’t know if this is hard to believe. I’m sure it’s really not that hard to believe actually but I’ve never written a proper treatment for a video. I’ve written plans and all that – but never actually one that I could hand over to someone and say, “here read this, and let me know if you want to work with me…” or something along those lines.

Preparation is key to everything you do in life I believe. My Dad always told me “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail..” Which is completely true to me anyways… So I’m now taking it upon myself to write professional looking treatments for all the videos I plan to do in the future.

Pretty much I just searched on Google – Professional Music Video Treatment Templates – etc etc. Downloaded some, looked at a couple that were viewable online..And concocted up my own little creation for Ncane & F.O.X’s TRILLA Freestyle.

I’ve shot the video this past weekend and I can’t say it went completely according to plan – but at least we had a plan! Look out for it!

Tim Brown released the full video to Just Warming. Had a lot of fun making this video . Would like to say thanks to Francesca in Seven 7 Studios for helping us out on the day of the shoot and taking good care of us. Hope to do more work with them in the future. A rare glimpse behind the scenes at one of my shoots! Not because it’s exclusive or anything but because no one ever bothers recording behind the scenes! Excuse my lips, they were a little dry. Now I’ve drawn attention to them. Anyways, Tim Brown was fantastic on the day – somehow managed to spit his tongue twisting lyrics for around 6 hours on and off without making any mistakes. Look out from this guy, he’s the best thing from Derby since Brian Clough left. Follow him @TimBrownIsHere

Check out one of my latest videos. I’ve been on a little hiatus because of Uni but got some cool behind the scenes footage coming for you and more videos of course. This video was fun to shoot and even more fun to edit. Really made something out of nothing which I think is key for a director to be able to do…and hopefully I can become better at that as time goes on…
