My New Years Resolution: The 7-Day Plan

7days My New Years Resolution: The 7 Day PlanA lot of people make New Years Resolutions. And then they don’t stick to them. I’m one of those people, so earlier this year I devised a plan on how I’m going to be able to stick to my goals. I call this wonderful plan the 7-Day Plan.

A lot us MMO (Make Money Online) people like to set goals, deadlines, and what not. Some people set realistic goals (which I believe fully in) and some people set ridiculous goals (ridiculous). I believe in setting realistic incremental goals.

You crawl before you walk - You stretch before you run.

This is how the 7-Day Plan works -

  1. You go to Walgreens, get a notebook (I like the small 5-Star Ones). If you’re a PC person, open up a word document.
  2. Title the document or notebook paper for example - Dec 7th-Dec 14th
  3. Write down all your goals that you believe you can accomplish within those 7 Days
  4. Every morning look at the goals, choose one, and get it done.
  5. Every night look at your goal list, and cross out the ones you completed.
  6. Try and finish all your goals that you set in 7 days, then turn the page.
  7. Repeat from step #2.

The 7-Day Plan isn’t only effective in Internet Marketing/Make Money Online, but effective in all walks of life. Take your wife out to dinner, plan it, complete it! Take out the trash, plan it, complete it. Whatever it is, write it down, and get it done. And I’ll tell you what, you’d be surprised how much you can do in only 7 Days.

hustlefriends How to Hustle Your Friends Out of Money

Somebody asked the question and found my blog. I’m all about helping my readers out so I thought I’d write a post to help people learn the art of hustling their friends out of money even though I’ve never done such a thing…I’ll do my best

So you want to know how to hustle your friends out of money huh? Here’s a couple tips:

  • Have them take you out to lunch, and “forget your wallet” (a free meal has monetary value.)
  • Get them to sign up for you for free stuff
  • Ask them to borrow some money to buy your mom an Xmas present. (how could anyone say no?)
  • Play them in a  game you know you can’t lose for cash
  • And last but not least - beating them repeatedly in pool
  • All I know is I wouldn’t wanna be this guys friend. Oh well, go get that money!

    Have You Heard Of Splitweet?

splittweet Have You Heard Of Splitweet?

Do you have more than one Twitter account? I sure do. I have 3, one that I used for my first blog to network with other bloggers of that niche. Another which I used for my business (great fail), and the last one which I use on this website. I have around 450 followers on all 3 accounts combined and I don’t like seeing anything go to waste. I needed an way to use all 3 Twitter accounts at once, and I think I’ve found it.

Splitweet is the name, using multiple Twitter accounts at once is its game. This is probably one of the coolest things my friend Google found for me. The website advertises itself for corporate Twitter users but it doesn’t seem to have a corporate feel at all. When you reach the site you’ll notice that it’s layout is more fun than business. I mean..it’s purple. That really doesn’t matter to me, it’s all about usability.

I found my way around it quite easily. Sign up, log-in, hit manage accounts, add as many Twitter accounts as you like and then start Tweeting. For a second I was worried that I may have the same followers on 2 of my accounts (that would be embarassing) but you can select which accounts you want to Tweet on so it’s works out well.

All I’m saying is - use Splitweet if you need to be on multiple Twitter accounts at once. I guess you can be in two places at once.

Oh yeah - Follow Me :)

If you don’t know what Twitter is yet..find out NOW! Twitter is the future. It’s great for networking, promotion, and just getting to know other people. Anyone can use it and people have actually seen great business success using Twitter.

Networking with your customers, talking to them, showing them that you are a normal person. You eat 3 times a day, you aren’t just a being behind a computer, that you like Sunday night football. I wrote this in an article the other day so I’m going to share it with you all - People will actually buy from you just because you’re a nice guy (or girl). But I can only say it so well, check out Chris Brogans take on Cafe Shaped Conversations.

By the way - Follow Me on Twitter. Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays.
